Serenata before Wedding
Tim was very involved in planning the wedding in Costa Rica. He inspected every step of the planning. We spend 4 different weekends going out dancing to chose the musical group.
The day before to our wedding, he followed the typical Costa Rican tradition called Serenata.
where the groom sing with the musicians to the bride. This is a picture when he is with the other men on that night. It was so very funny and joyous. Tim's friends didn't know how to sing in Spanish but they sure had fun.
We very much enjoy our wedding here. We had fun making the arrangements. We did the invitations, prepare the flowers, and planned the wedding together. Early in the morning on our wedding day, we had a tour to see birds. We had dance the night before with a calypso band. On the wedding day, we had Trova musicians.
It was very lovely. Xinia

Blessing
May this old Gaelic Blessing light your way into the New Year.
Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the watching shepherds to you.
Deep peace of the Son of Peace to you.
